Snot is an American band formed in Santa Barbara, California, in the mid-1990s around singer Lynn Strait. Their music blends alternative metal, hardcore punk, funk metal and hip-hop influences, with an aggressive, energetic and highly rhythmic sound. Driven by the album Get Some, which gained cult status after Strait’s death in 1998, Snot left a lasting mark on the late-1990s alternative metal and nu-metal scenes.
