CunninLynguists is an American hip-hop group formed in Lexington, Kentucky, in 2000 around Kno and Deacon the Villain, later joined notably by Natti. Their music blends underground hip-hop, alternative rap and Southern rap influences, with often soulful, melancholic and cinematic production supporting introspective, narrative and socially conscious lyrics. With albums such as Will Rap for Food, A Piece of Strange and Oneirology, CunninLynguists became a notable group in the American independent hip-hop scene.
