PANACHES Desktop is designed to keep your files, notes, sources and work data in your local environment by default. This page mainly covers data handled by the public website and related online services.

Amber AI and local AI

Amber AI is designed to work with local models and your own sources when you choose to enable AI. AI features are off by default, no heavy model is installed without consent, and you can download Gemma 4 4B or use your own compatible models.

Forms, contact and newsletter

The website may process data that you enter voluntarily in public forms, such as a name or handle, an email address, a contact or contribution message, and a newsletter signup. This information is used to handle the relevant request, contribution or signup.

Customer account and magic login

The PANACHES customer account uses your email address to send a magic login link, then to keep a technical session after authentication. The website also processes the minimum information needed to connect an account with licenses, a subscription, billing or reserved downloads.

Payment, Stripe and subscription

Payments and bank card information are handled by Stripe. Once payment is validated, PANACHES uses the information needed to attach a license, a subscription or customer access, without exposing bank card data on the public website.

Premium resources and reserved downloads

Some premium resources and some reserved downloads require an eligible customer account or an active subscription. The website and portal verify that access state before showing or serving this content.

Cookies, session and analytics

The website may use technical or preference cookies to remember the selected language and, when you open your customer account, to maintain the authentication session. When audience measurement is enabled, it remains optional, configured without cookies and limited to aggregated statistics.
