Cypress Hill is an American hip-hop group formed in Los Angeles in the late 1980s around B-Real, Sen Dog, DJ Muggs and, later, Eric Bobo. The group became known for a dark and instantly recognizable sound blending West Coast rap, funk, rock and Latin influences, driven by B-Real’s distinctive nasal delivery and DJ Muggs’ heavy production. With albums such as Cypress Hill, Black Sunday and III: Temples of Boom, Cypress Hill became one of the most iconic hip-hop groups of the 1990s.
