In 50 BC, all of Gaul is occupied by the Romans… except for one small village that continues to resist the invaders thanks to a magic potion that grants superhuman strength. Asterix, a clever and courageous warrior, undertakes numerous missions alongside his inseparable friend Obelix, who fell into the potion when he was a child. Between clashes with Roman legionaries, journeys across the Roman Empire, and encounters with many different peoples, the two Gauls defend their village while becoming involved in countless humorous and unexpected adventures.
