On a night of storm, while all the Gauls of the village are gathered in the house of Abraracourcix while waiting for the return of Panoramix, a strange character dressed in wolf skin asks for hospitality: he is a diviner. Despite the warnings of Asterix warning the Gauls against this charlatan, all the inhabitants begin to come to consult him. The situation worsens when the divine, used by the Romans who captured him, predicts the end of the little village. It will take all the intelligence of Asterix and Panoramix (finally back) to counter the plans of the Romans and the divine.
