Abraracourtcix must go to a dietic cure. Asterix and Obelix accompany him to protect him. Abraracourtcix, who arrive at the city of the cure, no longer supports the presence of his friends, who go with wild boars in front of him, while he must be content with vegetables; he asks them to leave. Asterix and Obelix go to Gergau, where they meet the tribe Tullius Fanfrelus, special envoy of Julius Caesar. Following the fight with the Romans who accompany Tullius, our Gauls meet Alambix, with whom they remain. Tullius, on the other hand, goes to Caesar who wishes to march in Gergow on the shield of Vercingétorix, but the latter remains unobtainable. The Romans seek him, and our Gauls also, to prevent Caesar from showing his power.
