At the end of the 16th century, Takezo Shinmen is a violent and impulsive young man who dreams of becoming the greatest fighter in Japan. After surviving the Battle of Sekigahara, he begins a long journey that leads him to question his understanding of strength, honor, and victory. Under the name Miyamoto Musashi, he faces many opponents, refines his swordsmanship, and searches for the true meaning of being invincible. His journey is as much about becoming a warrior as it is about confronting his own limits, loneliness, and the purpose he wants to give his life.
