After spending several years in a wheelchair following an attack by the Joker, Barbara Gordon regains the use of her legs and decides to become Batgirl once again. Returning to the streets of Gotham, she must learn to trust her body again while dealing with the trauma left by her past. Between new criminals, threats connected to her family, and enemies who exploit her fears, Barbara tries to reclaim her place among the city’s heroes. Her return becomes as much a fight against crime as a personal journey to rebuild her confidence and accept the person she has become.

Issue 1
When troubles point the end of their noses, Barbara Gordon is not the type to abandon her old habits. So, when a terrible fire deprives her of everything she had, the young woman seizes the opportunity to start over. Just like the rest of Gotham's trendy youth, she settles in the chic district of Burnside and takes advantage of this revival to redefine the style and methods used by her alter ego Batgirl. But changing the environment does not reduce the daily threats and dangers of heroin.
Issue 2
A new Batman has just arrived in town, and it's not really Barbara Gordon's taste. Her daily life was already quite up and running. Her roommate, Frankie, is now an integral part of her double life and therefore finds herself exposed to new dangers. It's hard to lead a normal teenage life when you're also a superhero.
Issue 3
To get out of the most complicated situations, Batgirl has always used her best weapon: her mind. But while Burnside is in danger again, Barbara Gordon will have to face a most cunning opponent... since this one steals her secrets and memories, turning them against her. With her best friends and allies, Spoiler, Black Canary and Batwing, Batgirl will have to face the worst enemy that is devastated by the flames...
