Neil Young is a Canadian singer, songwriter, guitarist and musician who became one of the defining figures of North American folk rock and rock music. After his early work with Buffalo Springfield and later Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, he developed a highly personal solo career moving between acoustic folk, country rock, electric rock and more experimental sounds, often accompanied by Crazy Horse. With albums such as After the Gold Rush, Harvest and Rust Never Sleeps, Neil Young became one of the most influential singer-songwriters of his generation.
