Incubus is an American rock band formed in California in the early 1990s around Brandon Boyd, Mike Einziger and José Pasillas. The group developed an eclectic sound blending alternative rock, funk metal, nu metal, post-grunge and electronic influences, gradually moving toward more melodic and atmospheric songwriting. With albums such as S.C.I.E.N.C.E., Make Yourself and Morning View, Incubus became one of the leading American alternative rock bands of the late 1990s and early 2000s.
