Shoyo Hinata discovers volleyball after watching a short player known as the “Little Giant” on television. Inspired by him, Hinata decides to follow the same path despite his own height, which seems poorly suited to the sport’s usual standards. In his first real tournament, he faces Tobio Kageyama, a gifted setter with a difficult personality, only to later discover that they will attend the same high school: Karasuno. Initially rivals, Hinata and Kageyama must learn to combine their talents to help a once-prestigious team reclaim its place among the best. Through training, competitions, and encounters with increasingly formidable opponents, each of them grows both individually and as part of the team.
