After the defeat of Lyon's henchmen, Erza arrives to punish them for their disobedience but is convinced by Gray to help finish the mission. Gray reveals to his friends that Ur is still alive, in the form of ice around Deliora, having used the forbidden spell Iced Shell to save Gray's life 10 years ago, when he attacked Deliora after the murder of his parents. Lyon holds Gray responsible for Ur's supposed death. Gray tries to dissuade Lyon from using Moon Drip (which would melt the ice and kill Ur) but is enraged when Lyon admits he already knows the truth.
