The Black Wizard Faris is revealed to be the Earth-Land counterpart of Faris of Elentear, imbued with Acnologia's severed left arm and his powers. Ignia initiates his plan: using the roots created by Dogramag, he produces lacrima crystals on the lands of his Divine Dragon peers, resurrecting Aldoron and Viernes, driving the 4 dragons mad, and turning the citizens of Guiltina (including Fire & Flame) into humanoid dragons. Elefseria gathers the team at her guild, where they disperse to destroy the lacrima. In Ermina, Brandish helps Lucy destroy Mercphobia's lacrima (which contains the key to Aquarius); Brandish lets Lucy keep the key, reuniting Lucy and Aquarius. At the Fire God's Castle, Natsu fights Brian while Happy convinces another member of Fire & Flame, the fire cat Misfortune, to help Fairy Tail find Ignia (who left to pursue Faris). In the ruins of Drasil, Erza finds that Aldoron has apparently been killed and his lacrima destroyed by the Oración Sechs, Faris's demonic minions (including a resurrected Zero). The other 5 Seis arrive, accompanied by a sixth hooded figure.
