Vegeta continues to fight Gas until Ultra Ego drains all his energy, then Goku takes over. Gas reaches a new level, and the two Saiyans fight to give Granolah time to charge a final attack. Although he lands it, Granolah does not intentionally kill Gas. Gas seriously injures Monaito. Freeza appears, quickly kills Gas and Elec, and reveals a new form, Black Freeza, obtained by training in a Room of Spirit and Time for 10 years. He leaves with Macki and Oil as servants. Whis takes Goku and Vegeta to Beerus's planet to train and surpass Freeza. On Earth, Trunks and Goten begin fighting crime as superheroes Saiyaman X-1 and X-2. They investigate the sabotage of Capsule Corp. robots and find a floppy disk named "Dr. Gero".
