Denji is a young man buried in debt who survives by hunting devils with Pochita, a small demonic creature with a chainsaw. After a betrayal costs him his life, Pochita merges with him and transforms his body, giving him the ability to become Chainsaw Man. Recruited by Public Safety, Denji joins a unit specializing in devil hunting and discovers a world where humans, supernatural creatures, and secret organizations are constantly in conflict. Behind his desire for a simple life, far more dangerous stakes soon emerge, connected to his powers and to those who seek to control them.
