Hermia and Lysandre are very fond of it, but Theseus, a tyrant of Athens, requires the girl to marry Demetrius. If she refuses, she risks death or cloistering him. One evening, with Lysandra, Hermia decides to flee the city, pursued by Demetriius and Helena, herself in love with him. Together, they plunge into the heart of a dark and enchanted forest. They meet Oberon, king of the elves, who asks the malicious Puck to use his philtras to tie and untie the love of travelers... Between burlesque and fairytale, abymizing and disorderly feelings, The Dream of a Summer Night is more than a dream, it is a "sum with shared dreams".
