An unexplained disaster simultaneously kills all the mammals carrying a Y chromosome, except for Yorick Brown and his monkey Esperluette. Accompanied by Agent 355 and geneticist Allison Mann, Yorick is going through a troubled world to find his companion and understand why they survived.
