Found as a child by Allied forces after being summoned to Earth through a Nazi occult ritual, Hellboy grows up within the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. As an investigator specializing in supernatural threats, he travels the world confronting demons, witches, monsters, and ancient gods alongside allies such as Abe Sapien and Liz Sherman. Behind each mission, however, lies a more personal question: the truth about his origins and the destiny that powerful forces seek to impose on him. Blending folklore, mythology, occultism, and horror, Hellboy struggles to choose his own path despite the prophecies surrounding his existence.
