After a massive earthquake devastates Gotham, the U.S. government abandons the city, cuts off its access points, and officially declares it a “No Man’s Land.” With no central authority, electricity, or reliable supplies, Gotham fractures into territories controlled by gangs, criminals, and groups of survivors. Batman, absent for much of the crisis, eventually returns to a city he barely recognizes and tries to restore some form of order with the help of the Bat-Family and the few police officers who remained behind. Between turf wars, shortages, betrayals, and fragile alliances, everyone must decide what they are willing to sacrifice in order to survive and rebuild Gotham.

Issue 1
Ravaged by an earthquake, Gotham City is also abandoned by the government authorities that are licking the rest of the United States. Months later Batman returned to Gotham, decided to take over the city. But it is cut into fiefs governed by its worst enemies...
Issue 2
Still struggling with gangs that rule over a devastated Gotham, Batman has to learn to team up with the new and mysterious Batgirl. Meanwhile, the Joker and Double-Face advance their pawns for the conquest of No Mans Land.
Issue 3
Batman, who was trapped by his worst enemies, must call for the rescue of his loyal allies: Azrael, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman. Each of them will be given a specific mission, in order to ensure the reconquest of No Mans Land by the law enforcement forces.

The different clans of Gotham still share the city devastated by an earthquake.
