After Bruce Wayne’s disappearance, Dick Grayson agrees to take on the role of Batman while Damian Wayne, the son of Bruce and Talia al Ghul, becomes the new Robin. Their partnership partly reverses the traditional dynamic: Dick is a more relaxed and experienced Batman, while Damian is an arrogant and impatient young fighter who was trained to kill from childhood. Together, they must learn to trust each other while facing new threats such as Professor Pyg and the Circus of Strange, as well as Talia’s manipulations and several enemies connected to Bruce’s past. Their partnership gradually becomes a way to preserve Batman’s legacy while building identities of their own.
