Nävis is a young human who grew up alone on a wild planet, unaware of the existence of any other members of her species. Her encounter with Sillage, a vast space convoy bringing together thousands of alien peoples, completely changes her life and introduces her to a complex galactic civilization. Possessing a unique trait that makes her difficult for telepathic species to detect, she gradually becomes an agent entrusted with sensitive missions.
