In the world of Opale, light is controlled by a powerful religious order that imposes its authority over the peoples living under its rule. Darko, a young man from an isolated village, discovers that he is connected to an ancient prophecy and may play a decisive role in the struggle against this order. Accompanied by the young priestess Sleilo and the bard Urfold, he sets out on a journey through vast forests, dangerous cities, and lands shaped by magic.
