The Killers is an American rock band formed in Las Vegas in the early 2000s around Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. The group became known for a sound blending alternative rock, post-punk revival, new wave and pop rock, driven by prominent synthesizers, anthemic choruses and a strong melodic identity. With albums such as Hot Fuss, Sam’s Town and Day & Age, The Killers became one of the most popular American rock bands of their generation.
