Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in Alberta in the mid-1990s around Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake and, later, Daniel Adair. The group developed a sound blending post-grunge, hard rock and alternative rock, driven by powerful guitars, highly melodic choruses and polished, accessible production. With albums such as Silver Side Up, The Long Road and All the Right Reasons, Nickelback became one of the most popular Canadian rock bands of the 2000s.
