Kognitif, born Cyril Capra, is a French beatmaker and producer from Poitiers. He creates instrumental music blending trip-hop, abstract hip-hop, downtempo, soul, jazz and electronic textures, built around sampling and atmospheres that are often warm and contemplative. With albums such as My Space World, Soul Food, Soul Food 2 and Soul Food 3, Kognitif has developed a distinctive sound combining groove, cinematic melodies and instrumental hip-hop.
