Guns N’ Roses is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in the mid-1980s around Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler. The group became known for a sound blending hard rock, blues rock, punk and sleaze-rock influences, driven by powerful riffs, a provocative attitude and Axl Rose’s instantly recognizable voice. With albums such as Appetite for Destruction, Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, Guns N’ Roses became one of the most iconic rock bands of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
