Overview
Presentation
FIFTY FIFTY is a South Korean girl group formed by ATTRAKT, debuting on November 18, 2022, with the mini-album THE FIFTY and the song Higher. Its original lineup consisted of Keena, Saena, Sio, and Aran. In 2023, the single Cupid, particularly its English-language Twin Version, achieved international success through its retro-inspired melody, vocal harmonies, and popularity on social media.
Following a contractual dispute that resulted in three members leaving, FIFTY FIFTY was reorganized in 2024 around Keena, joined by Chanelle Moon, Yewon, Hana, and Athena. The mini-album Love Tune, featuring SOS and Gravity, introduced this new musical chapter, followed by Day & Night (2025) and the song Pookie.
In June 2026, the group released Imperfect-I'mperfect, featuring STARSTRUCK and Like a Bubble. Hana did not participate in the album's promotions due to a temporary hiatus but remained a member of the group.
Key Takeaways
FIFTY FIFTY focuses on melodic pop combining R&B, synthpop, and light electronic sounds. Its songs emphasize vocal harmonies, accessible choruses, and often airy arrangements. The group's reorganization in 2024 marked a major turning point, balancing musical continuity with artistic renewal.
Conclusion
From the worldwide recognition achieved with Cupid to its new lineup, FIFTY FIFTY has undergone significant changes since 2022. Its discography maintains an identity centered on pop melodies and vocal performances while exploring different contemporary influences.
