Dropkick Murphys is an American band formed in Quincy, Massachusetts, in the late 1990s. Their music blends punk rock, hardcore and traditional Irish influences, with a strong presence of bagpipes, mandolin and group vocals. Driven by themes of working-class life, solidarity, Irish-American identity and community, the band became one of the leading names in Celtic punk through albums such as The Gang’s All Here, Blackout and The Warrior’s Code.
