Dirty Pretty Things was a British rock band formed in London in the mid-2000s around Carl Barât, Gary Powell, Didz Hammond and Anthony Rossomando. Emerging in the wake of The Libertines, the group developed a sound blending indie rock, garage rock and post-punk revival, driven by sharp guitars, direct melodies and a distinctly British energy. With albums such as Waterloo to Anywhere and Romance at Short Notice, Dirty Pretty Things became one of the notable projects of the British indie rock scene of the 2000s.
