Descendents is an American punk rock band formed in California in the late 1970s around Milo Aukerman, Bill Stevenson, Tony Lombardo and Frank Navetta. Their music blends hardcore punk, melodic punk and pop punk, with short, fast and highly melodic songs often focused on relationships, adolescence, frustration and everyday life. With albums such as Milo Goes to College, I Don’t Want to Grow Up and Everything Sucks, Descendents became one of the most influential bands in American melodic punk and pop punk.
