In a future where humans can replace large parts of their bodies with cybernetic implants and connect their minds to digital networks, Major Motoko Kusanagi leads a special unit tasked with fighting terrorism, hacking, and technological crime. Alongside Section 9, she investigates cases involving artificial intelligence, data manipulation, and cybercrime.
