Twilight, the world's greatest spy, must create a family from scratch for his new mission to infiltrate the most prestigious aristocratic school. Completely lacking in family experience, he adopts a little girl without knowing she is a telepath, and teams up with a shy young woman, unaware that she is a formidable hitwoman. This atypical trio must figure out how to blend in while discovering the true values of a loving and united family.
Save the world with the elite of (very) special agents: the Forger family! A sparkling spying comedy! Two neighbouring nations sharing a mutual hatred, a fragile peace threatened by ambitious politicians... This is the setting of SPYxFAMILY, with, in the first place, Twilight, spy of Westalis missioned to avoid the war that is preparing behind the scenes. Accompanied by Anya, her (false) adopted daughter, and Yor, her (false) wife and true killer, Twilight alias Loid Forger must approach the leader of the Unified Nation Party. The plan consists in having Little Anya admitted to the prestigious Eden school, where the children of the elite of Ostania meet, and then to make her one of the best students of the school. A goal that falls within the impossible, unless to deploy treasures of ruse and ingenuity... But is this not precisely the heart of the spy's profession?
For Twilight, a spy for a state at odds with its neighbor, Operation "Strix," which involves approaching a dangerous politician, is the absolute priority. But he also has to manage his fake family life with his wife Yor, a municipal employee by day and a killer by night, and his adoptive daughter Anya, whose gift for sensing people's thoughts is matched only by her academic difficulties. And the family doesn't stop there, as Yor has a younger brother who hides his activity as a secret police agent from everyone. When Yuri pays them an unexpected visit, Twilight must cope with the various lies he has maintained for weeks. A complicated mission, especially since Yor's brother is suspicious of this husband whose existence he was unaware of until now...
Faced with a terrorist threat against a Westalis minister visiting Ostania, Twilight and the WISE cell mobilize. The conspirators plan to use dogs to achieve their goals, a curious coincidence as the Forger family wishes to adopt a canine to reward Anya for getting her first star at Eden Academy. And just like that, Anya is kidnapped by the terrorists during a dog show! Once again, her (clumsy) intervention, like Yor's (unexpected) one, will put Twilight on the right track...
After thwarting a terrorist plot in a flash (just that), the (fake) Forger family welcomes a new member named Bond, the dog Bond. Hidden beneath his abundant canine fur is an infinite love for Anya and, more discreetly, a gift of prescience. As Operation 'Strix' finally seems to be on track, the exams Anya must take as part of her schooling could once again jeopardize Loid Forger's delicate mission as Twilight, the world's best spy...
Twilight must definitely recover a document threatening the fragile balance of forces between East and West. For this mission, he teamed up with Nocturna, a collaborator secretly taken of him. Everything will be played during a clandestine tennis tournament, the outcome of which might well call into question Yor's position within the Forger family. Indeed, Noctuna swore to take the place of Twilight's false wife in the framework of Operation "Strix". Aware of the danger she is facing, Yor nevertheless has doubts about her ability to play the role of Mrs. Forger. At the same time, Twilight despairs of getting closer to his target, the dangerous and more unreachable Donovan Desmond...
Twilight, a true spy and a fake family man, has finally managed to make contact with Donovan Desmond, his target in Operation "Strix." But the politician remains elusive. Anya may ultimately be the best card to play to complete her "father's" mission. As for Yor, she reconnects with an old acquaintance who entrusts her with a rather peculiar task, far removed from her usual assassinations...
Winners of a cruise on a luxury liner, Loid and Anya board the Princess Lorelei along with Yor, who is on an ultra-dangerous mission. Under the guise of her work at the city hall, the young woman must indeed ensure the protection of the wife of an assassinated mobster...
In the middle of the sea, the cruise ship Princess Lorelei is the scene of a bloody confrontation between Yor and the assassins sent after the woman she must protect. Far from relaxing, Loid and Anya also find themselves caught in the turmoil. The threat of an imminent bomb forces Loid to intervene, just as he is about to be exposed...
And two tonitos for Anya! Following the poor academic results of the girl, Twilight's plan to approach Donovan Desmond is taking the water. Preserving peace remains the priority for the spy of Westalis. In these times of fragile balance between the forces of the West and the East, some have forgotten nothing of the war that raged not so long ago. In Westalis, in the border town of Ruen, once lived a little boy who had fun playing soldiers with his friends. A game that his father hardly liked, but which nevertheless remained a hobby without consequence. And pui, on a day like the others, the first bombs fell on Ruen. And the world, like the little boy of Ruen, would forever change his face...
The meeting between Yor and Melinda Desmond, the wife of Loid/Twilight's target, seems to mark a turning point in the mission the spy must accomplish, as well as for the fake Forger family. Anya hopes to get ahead of Yor in the race for an invitation to the Desmonds'. Her best weapon? Her very special relationship with the clan's youngest, Damien, who is exasperated (and fascinated?) by his classmate. And during a school outing, the students of Eden Academy plunge into a drama where everyone is overwhelmed by the events....
After terrorists hijack the Eden Academy school buses, the Forgers are happy to be together as a family. However, the calm is short-lived; Yor decides to create problems in her relationship so that it will be "like everyone else's." Even more serious, a Westalis agent turns out to be a mole for Ostania. Having managed to escape, he is pursued by WISE teams, who have the formal instruction to neutralize him. Otherwise, the entire Western spy network could fall with him, with Twilight in the front line...
Twilight is cornered after his fight against an Ostanian agent. Can Nocturna turn the situation around and recover the confidential information the two agents came for? And what about the crisis the couple is going through? On her end, Anya, who is running Operation 'Friendship,' tries to receive candies from Damien as thanks...
