After the Holy War against Hades, Seiya remains gravely wounded by the sword of the god of the Underworld. In an attempt to save him, Athena and Shun travel back in time to the 18th century, during the previous Holy War. There they meet Tenma, the Pegasus Saint of that era, as well as Alone, a young man destined to become Hades’ vessel. While the Sanctuary prepares to confront the Specters, mysterious betrayals and disruptions caused by time travel complicate the conflict. Past and present begin to intertwine, placing not only Seiya’s fate but also that of Athena and the Saints at stake.
