In ancient China, during the Warring States period, Xin is a young war orphan who dreams of becoming a Great General under the Heavens. After the death of his friend Piao, he meets Ying Zheng, the young king of Qin, whose ambition is to unite the different states and put an end to the endless wars. Xin decides to fight by his side and gradually joins the Qin army. Through military campaigns, strategic battles, and political struggles, he seeks to rise through the ranks while taking part in an undertaking that could permanently reshape the history of China.
