Running out of strength, Brain lures the heroes into a trap that seriously injures Jura. Erza defeats Midnight, the last member, which awakens Brain's destructive alter ego: Zero, sealed by a spell that can only be broken by the defeat of the six. Zero pilots Nirvana to destroy Cait Shelter. Members of Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale attack Nirvana aboard the Christina (Blue Pegasus's damaged airship). Hibiki indicates that the lacrima crystals powering the legs must be destroyed simultaneously. Natsu chooses the crystal guarded by Zero but is too injured. Jellal recovers his memories and helps Natsu, giving him the Flame of Guilt, which allows Natsu to activate Dragon Force.
