Erza, Lucy, Gray, and Juvia climb the tower, joined by Simon and Shô (Erza's former friends) after Simon reveals himself to be on Erza's side. After Natsu finds Happy and defeats Wally Buchanan and Millianna, Jellal announces the Council's decision to fire Etherion at the tower, and challenges everyone to defeat it first. The team continues through the tower and defeats Trinity Raven (a trio of assassins hired by Jellal).
