After Gajeel kills Zero, Misfortune brings Laxus and Natsu to Aldoron's body, where Ignia and Faris resume their duel. Aldoron is about to complete Universe Omega until Natsu wakes up and uses Igneel's power to neutralize him, allowing Selene to defeat Aldoron's God Seed and reverse Fairy Tail's dragonization. Natsu joins the fight between Ignia and Faris, where Faris tries to possess Ignia after he devours her. Ignia resists and fuses with her, gaining a new form, Black Flame Dragon. Accompanied by Faris's spirit, Ignia beats Natsu and leaves him for dead. Aldoron, mortally wounded, spreads his magic combined with Dogramag's magic onto Guiltina, creating dragons from the earth and separating Natsu's allies. The scattered mages are confronted by the humanoid Calamity Bloods: Erza against Motherglare and its range of mini-dragons; Gray and Juvia against Anchor (who turns them into water); Lucy and Wendy trapped by Earth Build while trying to revive Natsu.
