The Diabolos trio decides to target the White Wizard for the power of Mercphobia: they capture Natsu's team and injure Mercphobia. Lucy, Happy, and Carla escape and meet Brandish μ (who, like Lucy, is searching for the key to Aquarius on Guiltina). With her help, Fairy Tail forces Diabolos to retreat. Shortly after, Mercphobia loses control and transforms into a dragon, attacking Ermina and overwhelming the team. Jellal accuses Touka of being the White Wizard, but Laxus defends her. When Fairy Tail questions Touka, the White Wizard reveals she possesses Touka and attacks Jellal, before being suppressed by Touka (captured by Gajeel). During the interrogation, Touka explains that she joined Fairy Tail to get Wendy's help to separate the White Wizard. The White Wizard regains control and steals the magic of Fairy Tail and Jellal.
