In a city consumed by crime, thieves, robbers, killers, and small-time crooks struggle to survive in a world where loyalty is fragile and every mistake can prove fatal. Leo Patterson, a pickpocket known for his caution, becomes involved in a heist that goes terribly wrong, while Tracy Lawless returns to his hometown to investigate his brother's murder. Through several interconnected but self-contained stories, their lives cross paths with other criminals, corrupt police officers, and families shaped by violence. Amid betrayal, revenge, and desperate schemes, the series explores the consequences of choices that gradually trap its characters in a world from which escape becomes almost impossible.
