A few years ago, Jacob Kurtz lived happily with his family after having escaped a life promised to crime and violence in which he had bathed so far. A police investigation accusing him of the murder of his wife will however make his life hell. Since then, Jacob is only the shadow of himself. Insomniac, he wanders in the lower parts of the city, seeking what will prevent him from touching the background... One of his night trips unfortunately brings him to the wrong place, at the wrong moment. Then begins a long, very long night... From the one that delivers or finishes you. Rewarded several times at the Eisner Awards and Harvey Awards (Best Series and Best Screenwriter), Criminal by Ed Brubaker (Sleeper, Captain America, Daredevil...) and Seau Phillips (7 Psychopaths, Marvel Zombies...), is definitely part of the pantheon of the great classics of the comic strip.
