A mysterious epidemic is ravaging the capital of the small archipelago. People are fighting each other and killing each other. To stop any contagion, the priests decide to purify all the victims in gigantic firefights. But is it really an epidemic? Alatea remembers the stories that her grandmother once told her: the appearance of dragons, the madness that they have caused and the fight to death that knights have engaged. This madness, her grandmother, called her the "Veill". Today, everything coincides! But nobody seems to believe Alatea. Yet, she is convinced, a dragon may well be at the origin of the madness that spreads over the archipelago... Will not the legacy given by her grandmother be too heavy to bear?
