In a heroic fantasy world, the appearance of a dragon causes the Veill, a curse that spreads around it, transforming living beings and gradually condemning entire regions. Only virgin women are immune to its influence, leading to the creation of the Order of the Dragon Knights, warriors specially trained to hunt and kill these creatures. Across different eras, kingdoms, and heroines, the series follows their battles against dragons as well as the wars, political intrigues, and sacrifices their mission forces them to face, gradually revealing the history of a world deeply shaped by the Veill.

In the previous volume, Akanah was only a frightened little girl, ready to do anything to protect her brother from the ravages of the Veill.
