From the age of Bronze to the beginning of the fourth century C.E., when it received its present name from Paris, it is a piece of the history of Lutece that is told and shown to us. It is also the evocation of Roman colonization, the development of a unique geographical site, the urban evolution marked by the progress made by the conquerors: the forum and its religious and secular buildings, the theatre, the amphitheater, the thermal baths and the aqueduct. A whole page of the economic and monumental development of Paris is reconstructed through numerous drawings and texts.
