Radiohead is a British rock band formed in Oxford in the late 1980s around Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien and Philip Selway. Initially associated with alternative rock, the group quickly expanded its sound toward more experimental forms blending art rock, electronic music, ambient, krautrock and atmospheric compositions, with lyrics often shaped by alienation, anxiety, technology and contemporary unease. With albums such as The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A and In Rainbows, Radiohead became one of the most influential and innovative bands in modern rock.
