KALEO is an Icelandic rock band formed in the early 2010s around singer and guitarist JJ Julius Son. Their music blends blues rock, folk, alternative rock and soul influences, with a strong focus on guitars, stripped-back atmospheres and a deep, expressive vocal style. With albums such as A/B and Surface Sounds, along with songs like Way Down We Go and No Good, KALEO became one of the most internationally recognized Icelandic rock bands of its generation.
