blink-182 is an American pop-punk band formed in California in the early 1990s around Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker. The group became known for a fast, melodic and highly accessible sound blending punk rock, pop and adolescent humor, before gradually moving toward more introspective and ambitious songwriting. With albums such as Enema of the State, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket and blink-182, the band became one of the defining acts of modern pop punk.
