On June 6, 1924, when George Mallory and Andrew "Sandy" Irvine, oxygen bottles and food and camera on their backs, left camp 4 accompanied by eight carriers to try to reach the top of the Everest. We follow their tracks to the altitude at which they disappeared. Have they reached the top? We found years later some personal effects but never their Kodak camera officially surfaced again. The manufacturer assures however that if the film is still in the camera, it is possible to develop it, even more than fifty years later. So would the riddle be about to be solved...? This is the question that Fukamachi, in Kathmandu, poses, trying to track the camera that was stolen from him and Habu Jôji that he probably picked up near the roof of the world.
