Eikichi Onizuka, a former gang leader and biker with an explosive personality, decides to become a teacher after realizing that the job might bring him closer to young women. But once he is hired at a school known for its difficult students, his motivations quickly begin to change. Faced with a class of distrustful, rebellious, and sometimes deeply troubled teenagers, Onizuka uses unpredictable and unconventional methods to earn their trust and help them solve their problems. Behind his immature and excessive behavior, he gradually reveals a strong sense of justice and a rare willingness to defend his students against hypocrisy and abuse within the school system.
