Eikichi Onizuka, a former gang leader and biker with an explosive personality, decides to become a teacher after realizing that the job might bring him closer to young women. But once he is hired at a school known for its difficult students, his motivations quickly begin to change. Faced with a class of distrustful, rebellious, and sometimes deeply troubled teenagers, Onizuka uses unpredictable and unconventional methods to earn their trust and help them solve their problems. Behind his immature and excessive behavior, he gradually reveals a strong sense of justice and a rare willingness to defend his students against hypocrisy and abuse within the school system.

Volume 1
Former thug, gang leader, Eikichi Onizuka decides one day to become a teacher. His calling is anything but pedagogical. What he wants is to be able to date the high school students where he works. Yet, as the chapters progress, we realize that our hero's sense of justice and honor will lead him to become a true educator. This series by Tôru Fujisawa achieved such success in Japan that it was adapted into a live-action TV drama and a movie. Funny and "real," full of twists and possessing a rare psychology in this field, GTO features adolescents searching for their identity, as there are everywhere.
Volume 2
Eikichi Onizuka achieves his first teaching exploits by performing a wrestling move on his deputy director and narrowly saving a young student from suicide.

Eikichi Onizuka resists a hateful blackmail, flirts with the mother of one of the students, and tells us the terrifying story of the anxiety dumplings... not forgetting, in the process, to destroy his vice-principal's car once again.

There will be talk of some Japanese perversions that one can read with a grimace, while reflecting on the cruel and fascinating face that revenge from an intelligent young girl can take. And even if Eikichi Onizuka once again shows extraordinary heroism before saying goodbye like a fading star, it is a young star who will illuminate the end of this volume with strong feminine undertones...
Volume 12
Eikichi Onizuka, like a drunken boat, swims across international waters where he is boarded before surfing on a dolphin under the admiring gaze of his students finally gathered for an extraordinary summer class. With unrestrained joy that this seventeenth volume of our hero's adventures is undoubtedly one of the best and will confirm our feeling that time does not affect good things. After a thrilling chase on a motorcycle, on the road, and on the computer via the Web, Onizuka will warm the frozen body of a desperate young girl with all his honor and to his greatest happiness.

three parallel stories unfold putting noble sentiments at odds with egoism, distress, and perversion. Onizuka, for his part, meets his boss's daughter and Azura's younger sister, with whom he plays detective to find his favorite colleague who seems to have been kidnapped by a dangerous pervert. Between these two encounters, our hero makes way for a sweet story of friendship between two students where a terrible secret will soon be revealed.
Volume 19
We will be drawn into a hellish chase, punctuated by four gunshots and four bullets that our hero receives in the chest. But this volume, marked by the double signs of resurrection and redemption, will see our phoenix rise from the ashes and restore the taste of life to his worst enemy. And it is when everything seems to have finally calmed down, when our hero's ambitions are about to come true, that a red devil, puffed up to the brim, will arrive, bringing his wildest dream and his worst nightmare.

We are once again confronted with our hero's disarming naivety, caught in the machinations of his new director, nicknamed Miss Wonderbra. From dream to reality, Onizuka does not seem to maintain the necessary distance to achieve his ambitions. In which the sex of angels will finally be revealed, even if those our hero meets open the gates of hell to him rather than paradise. Ai, the young angel who masters taekwondo, has found someone stronger than her: the boys she made get kicked out. But Onizuka is not the type to let his students get beaten without intervening. Anko doesn't quite know what to do; since her stay in Okinawa, she has realized she is in love with Yoshikawa. That evening, she makes plans to meet him because she has to return a video game. But what if this was her chance to confess her feelings?
Volume 23
In which it will be told how desperate situations, while not being the most beautiful, are nevertheless full of hope. Our Hero, Eikichi Onizuka, will need a good dose of imagination, humor, and courage to overcome them. But nothing stops misfortune when a cursed past haunts you, and our hero will have to undergo some new contortions to end this episode in style and with a freefall.
Volume 24
We witness the fall of angels, dreams and the ambitions of Miss Wonderbra, who reveals her scars and most intimate secrets, only to end up in the gutter she thought she had forgotten forever. But, here, in this penultimate volume where death is never so present, the ultimate and definitive accident will occur, the one we feared so much and that our hero, Eikichi Onizuka, thought he could avoid at will, in vain.
Volume 25
Onizuka is in critical condition, which worsens by the minute. All his friends, colleagues, and students are in the hospital room watching over him. Even Ryuji is present. While Daimon and Sakurai continue to discuss a shared past trauma, Shibuya sets a fire at the school.
