Long before the adventures of Natsu and Lucy, Mavis Vermillion lives alone on Tenrou Island after the disappearance of the Red Lizard guild. Her encounter with several treasure hunters, including Yuri Dreyar, Precht Gaebolg, and Warrod Sequen, changes her life and draws her into a conflict against a rival guild. Through her intelligence, magical abilities, and the bonds she forms with her new companions, Mavis gradually takes part in the creation of what will become Fairy Tail, while discovering the cost of certain choices and the events that will leave a lasting mark on the guild’s history.
